Good bye dorms - hello good night’s sleep!

As we grow into our 30s and older, many of us are over sleeping in creaky hostel dorms with a younger party crowd that wakes us at all hours of the night. Equally, solo travellers might be frustrated by having to pay a premium to have their own room. Thankfully, on Indico Travels tours, there is a happy medium. We’ll match you up with someone of your gender to share a twin room, keeping costs low, but comfort levels high! Sleep with a clear conscience

We strongly believe that tourism should benefit local communities - and that staying closer to local communities will give you a more enriching insight into a country. We choose locally run accommodation over international chain hotels, so that our expenditure stays within the region. You’ll often stay in eco hotels, home stays or family-run guest houses on Indico Travels trips.

A select mix

Our accommodation ranges from rustic tree houses in the jungle to 4-star hotels. Instead of focussing on star levels (the average would probably be 3 stars), we select places that will enable you as a traveller in your 30s or 40s to have the best overall tour, and create unique memories. You’re given the warmest welcomed to the simple homes of the Ccotos community on Lake Titicaca, but will also enjoy soaking in the rooftop infinity pool with a view over Kathmandu in Nepal. You might love relaxing in an elegant ayurveda spa hotel in Sri Lanka, and choose to sleep under the stars in the desert in Jordan.
