After breakfast, drive to Cartagena's tourist port, "La Bodeguita", from where you will cross to Tintipan Island. The Tranq it Easy boats depart from Pier 4 at 9:00 AM, but you must be there by 8:00 AM. Please note that only a small luggage of 8 kg (same weight and size as the hand luggage allowed on the plane) can be taken on board. You can leave the rest of your luggage at the hotel reception and pick it up when you return.

The trip through the Colombian Caribbean Sea to the small island of Tintipan takes about two hours. From the open sea you can see the beautiful white sandbars lined with coconut palms getting closer and closer, just as you imagine. Surrounded by reefs and small islands, Tintipan is still little known to travelers. Although it is only 2.3 km², it is the largest of the islands in the San Bernardo archipelago and undoubtedly the most beautiful. Tintipan consists largely of mangroves and is a haven for many species of birds and fish that breed here. For nature lovers, a kayak tour through this unique ecosystem is a great experience.

After dropping your stuff at your accommodation for the next two nights, you're good to go! The hotel can only be reached by boat, so soak up the feeling of isolation…! Relax at the beach, have a swim or read a book. Leave everything else behind. This time is just for you.

In the evening, enjoy the sunset with while sipping on your cocktail. For dinner you will be able to taste the local flavors. What a way to end your island day!

When night falls, we offer something new and unique: diving to see the bioluminescent plankton and moon jellyfish, which are also bioluminescent and thankfully harmless. Will it be the stars reflected in the water or the plankton in the firmament? In any case, it will be one of the experiences that you will remember for the rest of your life. Note that the phases of the moon are to be taken into account; a lot of light makes it difficult to perceive the bioluminescence.
