Do you need a visa to visit colombia from USA?
Those with US Citizenship do not need to acquire a Colombian visa if their stay is less than 90 days. When you enter on Colombian soil, immigration will give you a tourist stamp granting your stay. Before entry, you must have proof of travel plans out of the country; if no proof of such travel plans is shown, your entry may be denied. Also required for entry is validity of your passport for at least 6 months after your stay. For example, if your trip to Colombia is in July, your passport needs to be valid through January.
