Then it's time to indulge the resort's gorgeous outdoor whirlpool (might be closed due to COVID regulations), and the traditional Finnish wooden sauna set next to a picturesque creek. Will you dare to roll in the snow after sweating in the sauna, like a true Finn?
Now, it's time to embark on another adventure: Your guide welcomes you accompanied by the wagging tails of fluffy huskies! You climb on husky sleds and hold on tight as the excited pack dash through the snow with you. After you've reached the husky kennel, their keepers invite you for some hot drinks and a sweet bite and tell you about their beloved dogs.
After snuggling with the dogs for one last time, you say goodbye and return to Rovaniemi.
Back in Rovaniemi, wrap yourself in your warmest clothes and prepare for an unforgettable night: At nightfall, expert Northern Lights hunters pick you up. Winter Wonders in Finland
The whole trip was wonderful. Some of the great activities were reindeer sleigh ride and husky safari. Also the untouched winter nature with sunlight gave a real feeling of winter wonderland. The highlight was, of course, seeing the northern lights. I am so happy that weather allowed us to see the lights. Overall, it was fantastic experience and very well organised.

Winter Wonders in Finland
I would highly recommend this trip to Rovaniemi. A winter holiday is so different to a normal holiday and Indico had everything planned to perfection. The accommodation was perfect and riding with Reindeer, Huskies and on snow mobiles gave me a new experience every day of the trip
