Alpacas are not only adorable, they are also important members of the family and community. The Q’ero are a Quechua-speaking group that lives in a remote part of the Andes, at an altitude of 4,500 metres above sea level. As caretakers of the alpacas, you are also helping the Q’ero people thrive and maintain their way of life.
Sponsorship not only gives you all the good feelings, it also comes with updates from your alpaca all the way from Peru. You’ll receive a video where you meet your alpaca and its family, as well as a bracelet made from your alpaca’s wool, lovingly crafted by Q’ero villagers. That is a souvenir of your travels unlike anything else!
