What kind of plug is used in Vietnam?
Vietnam uses Type A, Type C, Type F and Type G power plugs and sockets. In Vietnam, electrical supply is 200 Volts and 50Hz.
Type A can be characterized as having 2 flat vertical pins, common in the US. Type C is more common in the EU, and has two round pins that are 4.0mm. Type F also has two round pins, however they are 4.8mm. Type G (pictured right), is the best power plug to use in the country. Typically, it has 2 horizontal flat pins and one bottom pin.
